Laakirchen Papier AG located in Laakirchen (Upper Austria), specialises in the production and further development of super calendered, uncoated papers (SC papers) and containerboard on the European market.

The factory was founded as Trauntaler Holzstofffabrik in 1867 and since 2013 it is a subsidiary company of Heinzel Group which ranks among the biggest producers of market pulp, containerboard and magazine paper in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2018, Laakirchen Papier AG achieved sales revenues of EUR 301,4 million and on average employed a workforce of 426.
